Job summary

Workforce Staffing Recruitment Agency, on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a Warehouse Operator with FLT licences to join a small, friendly team. This temp-to-perm role offers full training and long-term career prospects in a busy warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will follow procedures, pick and pack orders, handle stock, and ensure safety and accuracy. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with reach and counterbalance licences; VNA licence

• Full, clean UK driving licence required.
• Experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to ensure safe working practices.

• Book in and store incoming stock.

• Carry out stock taking and inventory control.
• Rebox and weigh smaller orders for dispatch.
• Process returned products and update stock records.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.

Warehouse Operator with FLT Licence

Workforce Staffing Recruitment Agency is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a hardworking and skilled Warehouse Operator to join a small, friendly warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with forklift licences to secure a temp-to-perm position with full training and long-term career prospects.

The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. A comprehensive handover and training period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

The Role

• Follow written procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure safe working practices.
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Book in and store incoming stock.
• Transport stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
• Carry out stock taking and inventory control.
• Rebox and weigh smaller customer orders for dispatch.
• Process returned products and update stock records.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
• Unload and put away raw materials and other incoming deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• VNA Forklift Licence (preferred).
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
• Good command of the English language.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Professional and courteous when dealing with customers.

Interviews

The recruitment process includes an initial face-to-face interview with a tour of the facility, followed by a second-stage competency assessment covering van and forklift driving skills.
