About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play a vital role in ensuring orders are accurately picked and packed for timely delivery to our customers. They are key to delivering excellent customer service through efficient management of warehouse stock and understanding delivery timeframes.
Main Duties include:
- Receiving and storing supplier-delivered parts
- Accurately picking and loading vans in a timely manner
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
- Verifying stock quantities against computer records and ensuring proper storage in designated bins
Working hours:
Average 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday shifts
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Team player with good communication skills
- Attention to detail and efficiency
- Understanding of customer service and meeting deadlines
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry is desirable
