Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Operatives for the Sainsbury's contract in Sherburn in Elmet. You will join the Ambient Chamber team, handling order picking, packing and movement of stock to ensure timely dispatch of goods in a room-temperature warehouse environment.

The role is full-time and permanent, rotating 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 across 5 days per week. Independent travel to LS25 6JH is required as there is no public transport to the site.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is advantageous but not required.
• Flexible, positive and proactive approach to work.
• Able to carry out manual handling tasks (lifting, pushing and pulling).
• Strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our Sainsbury's contract within the Ambient Chamber team in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH). As a Warehouse Operative, you'll help ensure stores receive the right products, at the right time, and in excellent condition. Working in our Ambient Chamber – a warehouse environment storing room-temperature products – you'll be responsible for picking orders, moving stock, and preparing goods for dispatch, playing a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly and efficiently.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 out of 7 days, rotating between the following shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.

Please note: There is no public transport available to the site, so you must be able to travel independently to LS25 6JH for the required shift times.
