Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Sheffield hub. You will join a fast-paced team responsible for loading, sorting and delivering magazines while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and accuracy in a busy distribution environment.

The position offers a Monday to Friday shift pattern with varied hours and a starting hourly rate of £12.71. You’ll be part of InPost Newstrade, helping to move newspapers and magazines efficiently across

• Proactively locate overstock items, facilitating the timely and accurate compilation of customer orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment that meets all safety and operational standards.
• Follow all company procedures and policies to uphold the highest levels of efficiency and safety.
• Unload, load, sort, and scan deliveries, keeping workflows running smoothly and on time.

The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Hours: 06:00 - 14:00 Mon - Thurs / 06:00 - 12:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 Mon - Thurs / 12:00 - 18:00

Salary: £12.71

What You’ll Be Doing

• Efficiently break down, allocate, and load inbound magazine supplies to ensure smooth operations.
