Job summary

Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd in Wales is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. You will handle materials, stock, and shipping/receiving, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. This temp-to-perm role offers growth opportunities if expectations are met.

Shifts are 12 hours, Monday to Thursday, with a day shift from 6am to 6pm. Pay starts at £15.30 per hour with overtime at £22.95 per hour; forklift certification and WMS experience are essential, along

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse experience with materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management (FIFO).
• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance).
• Experience using warehouse management systems or similar inventory software.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail for quality control and accurate order processing.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to load & unload items repeatedly over long periods.
• Basic understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle materials through picking, packing, stocking, and load & unload activities to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment with proper certification to move heavy loads efficiently
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing
• Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch or storage
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, clearing aisles, and managing waste disposal
