Job summary

Hargreaves Industrial Services is seeking a Warehouse Operative for on-site duties at Killingholme. You will handle warehouse tasks, operate forklifts and bagging equipment, load/unload HGVs, and maintain accurate paperwork.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work flexibly in a team while also operating independently. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with health and safety practices preferred but training will be provided.
• Experience with mobile plant equipment preferred.
• Computer literate with basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse operations and operate small mobile plant.
• Operate forklift trucks and loading shovels.
• Operate bagging plant to create bulk bags of raw material.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound HGVs.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records.
• Carry out inspections and audits.
• Join team briefings and safety meetings.

A vacancy has arisen within our core team at Killingholme for a Warehouse Operative to support our operations.

The Warehouse Operative role exists to carry out key warehouse operations and operating of small mobile plant.

The role briefly encompasses the following:

• Warehouse operations
• Operating Forklift Trucks and Loading Shovels
• Operating bagging plant machine to create bulk bags of raw material
• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound HGV’s
• Completing paperwork
• Carrying out inspections
• Carrying out audits
• Joining in team briefings and safety meetings

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Health and Safety experience preferred but training will be given for the right candidate
• Experience with mobile plant
• Computer literate with basic excel skills
• Highly Motivated and willing to learn new skills
• Excellent paperwork and documentation skills
• Reliable and willing to be flexible
• Ability to think fast and adapt to quickly changing circumstances
• Good attitude, polite and good communicator
• A team player, able to work alongside others but also work alone
