Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Storekeeper to support our SGN contract in Milton Keynes. You will ensure engineers have the materials they need to keep essential services running, including receiving deliveries, stocking, and issuing items on request.

The role requires previous warehousing experience, a Full UK driving licence, and good organisational skills. It is a full‑time, permanent position with hours 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing, stores or logistics experience.
• Knowledge of safe manual handling and warehouse safety practices.
• Understanding of stock control and basic inventory systems.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to engineer requests, issuing materials accurately and on time.
• Pick and prepare orders for collections and operational needs.
• Receive deliveries, checking and recording stock within the system.
• Manage and segregate waste in line with company processes.
• Monitor stock levels, reporting discrepancies or low stock.
• Support stock takes and occasional work at other sites.
• Confidently communicate with engineers and depot colleagues.
