Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group in Manchester is seeking a Warehouse Operative with some driving duties. You will handle picking, packing, scanning, and stock movement, with occasional deliveries when required.

Role is warehouse-based with physical tasks, requires full UK manual driving licence, age 22+, no more than 6 points; salary £12.71/hour, weekly pay every Friday, hours Monday to Friday 08:30–17:30 plus alternate Saturday 08:00–12:00.

Location: Manchester
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly – every Friday
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30
Saturday: Every other Saturday, 08:00–12:00 (4 hours)

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative with some driving duties to join our team in Manchester.

This is primarily a warehouse-based role, with occasional driving required to cover driver sickness and holidays. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, comfortable with manual handling and have a good attitude towards both warehouse and delivery work.

The Role

Your main duties will include:

• Picking and packing orders
• Scanning stock and orders
• Wrapping and preparing bulk items
• Moving stock around the warehouse
• Sorting new stock into the correct bays
• Processing and sorting returns
• Loading and unloading stock
• General warehouse duties and maintaining a tidy, organised workspace
• Occasional deliveries when required to cover driver sickness or holidays

The products are primarily car parts, including brake pads, brake discs, nuts, bolts, mirrors, fluids, batteries and other automotive products.

Products can vary considerably in size and weight, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting. This can be a physically demanding role and will involve being on your feet and moving stock throughout the working day.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Minimum age of 22 due to insurance requirements
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence
• No DR, IN or TT endorsements
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work as part of a team
• Flexible enough to carry out occasional driving duties when required
