Job summary

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for aerospace and defence, is hiring a Warehouse Operative on a 6-month fixed-term contract at Bolton/Greater Manchester. You will support stores function, issue materials, kit work orders and maintain ERP stock records.

Ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at C or equivalent, be a team player, and comfortable with stock control, HSE/QA compliance, and data protection.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C (or equivalent) is required or considered via relevant experience.
• Enthusiasm to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Aptitude for stock control and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Issue materials in line with procedures to meet production and customer requirements.
• Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate ERP records.
• Kitting of work orders to Shop Floor and maintain stock rotation.

We're committed to excellence, driving us to continuously improve and adapt, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of our industry.**The Role:**As a member of the Stores Team, you will report to our Stores Line Manager as part of our dedicated team you will be involved in running of the Stores function, and ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials.As part of this varied role you will Issue materials in line with agreed procedure in order to meet production and customer requirements. Kitting of work orders to Shop Floor and be maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required.HSE and Quality regulations are adhered to at all times. Pick and issue stock according to pick lists and maintain stock rotation whilst following stock location procedures.Essentially you will also be provide general support to the Stores Manager and Stores team undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated.
