Job summary

Bleckmann UK is hiring a permanent full-time warehouse operative in Lutterworth. This 4-on 4-off shift pattern runs 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00, rotating weekly with peak-period flexibility.

You will move goods through the distribution centre, performing receipt, pick, pack and dispatch duties while upholding safety, accuracy and quality standards.

The role offers £12.91 per hour plus an annual shift allowance of £3,900, plus benefits and opportunities to grow within a large, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and processes.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work rotating shifts.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
• Takes personal responsibility for work quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Identify and report hazards, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve operational objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.

Main Purpose of the Role

To undertake warehouse duties, as trained, relating to the flow of stock through the distribution centre from receipt through to dispatch. The role is responsible for ensuring goods are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining company standards for quality, productivity, and health & safety.
