Job Description:

Micheldever Tyres is looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to be responsible for picking orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and putting stock away. The role involves manual handling, heavy lifting duties, and occasional Van or Forklift Truck driving duties.

• Location: Chepstow
• Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 07:00am-15:30pm (Every other Friday until 17:00)

About the role:

• Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported as required.
• Maintain high levels of stock accuracy during audits, effectively communicating discrepancies, shortages, or issues.
• Ensure efficient and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse according to instructions.
• Load outbound vehicles safely and properly, following instructions, company practices, and legislation.
• Ensure received stock is stored correctly and goods for dispatch are processed, picked, and loaded according to customer and DC requirements.

About you:

• Reliable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and good customer service skills.
• Understanding of workplace health & safety; able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; forklift license (Counterbalance or Reach Truck) is a plus but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
