Warehouse Operative - 2 Perm Positions and 1 FTC Available

Location: Slough

Shift: Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm Saturday & Sunday 6am to 2pm (1 in 3 Weekends) Shift Premium and Callout Premium in addition to basic salary.

This role is critical in ensuring our operations run efficiently and our customers receive flawless service.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform raw material management activities, including receipt, inspection, labelling, put away, storage, picking, checking, delivery, returns, and cycle counting.
• Manage bulk and sample material activities, from receipt and checking to packing and shipping, following GMP and customer specifications.
• Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary consumables, engineering items, gases, and equipment.
• Conduct usability, expiry, and labelling checks for materials delivered to production areas.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and records, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
• Monitor cold rooms, freezers, and warehouse temperatures to ensure accurate storage conditions.
• Adhere to GMP standards and safety precautions, completing all required training and keeping records compliant.
• Perform housekeeping activities, promptly reporting issues and ensuring audit readiness.
• Support Lean practices and engage in continuous improvement activities.
• Be responsible for on-call warehouse duties as required.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP and safety regulations.
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to operate forklift and other manual handling equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Reliable, with good time-keeping and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.
