Job summary

Vickerstock is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for their Lisburn site. You will handle receiving, storage, picking and packing to support production, using SAP for inventory records and scanners for accuracy.

The role demands attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Forklift experience is preferred, with a strong team focus to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years warehouse experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Experience using SAP or similar warehouse system is beneficial.
• Reach Forklift Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading shipments and recording goods with scanners.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records in SAP.
• Sorting and storing materials safely across warehouse racks.
• Picking and preparing orders for delivery or collection.
• Preparing material kits to support production schedules.
• Carrying out stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborating with warehouse and production teams to meet targets.

Warehouse Operative

Location: Lisburn

Pay Rate: £14.65 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:45-15:30, Friday 06:45-12:30

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading global engineering and technology organisation to recruit for a Warehouse Operative based in Lisburn. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse environment where you will play an important role in ensuring materials are received, stored, picked and supplied efficiently to support ongoing production.

What you will be doing

• Receiving and unloading incoming shipments, ensuring goods are accurately recorded using scanners and digital inventory systems.
• Using SAP to maintain accurate inventory records and support day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Sorting and storing materials safely and efficiently across warehouse racks and shelving.
• Picking and preparing orders for delivery or collection within required timescales.
• Preparing material kits to support production schedules.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and location audits to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment in line with company procedures.
• Working closely with colleagues across the warehouse and production teams to meet daily targets.

What you will need

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally 3+ years.
• A reliable and hardworking approach with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience using SAP or another Warehouse Management System would be highly beneficial.
• A valid Reach Forklift Licence is preferred.
