Job summary

AWI Civitas in Leeds is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team at the Leeds distribution centre. You will handle inbound deliveries, pick and pack orders, manage stock levels and ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule.

Typical shifts are 8–10 paid hours with regular opportunities for overtime. A dedicated coordinator and on-call planning team support the operation to maintain high standards of accuracy and punctuality.

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team at our Leeds distribution centre.

In this role, you will play a critical part in day-to-day warehouse operations, handling inbound deliveries, picking and packing orders, managing stock levels, and ensuring customer orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule.

Goods Inwards: Unload delivery vehicles, check stock against purchase orders, and inspect deliveries for any damages or discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using handheld RF scanners or pick sheets.

Packing & Dispatch: Pack items securely according to company standards, print shipping labels, and load outbound pallets/cages onto transport vehicles.

Stock Control: Conduct regular inventory counts, report stock discrepancies, and ensure items are safely put away into correct bin locations.

Requirements
