Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Morning shift Warehouse Operative for a temporary-to-permanent position in a UK warehouse. The role pays £12.71 per hour with weekly pay and starts around 10:00am, Sunday to Friday. Shifts are flexible and can be part-time or full-time to fit your availability.

The position involves loading/unloading vehicles, sorting and scanning parcels, and moving items up to 30–40 kg. Full training provided and onsite facilities available.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to move parcels up to 30–40 kg.
• Reliable timekeeping and professional conduct.
• Willingness to work mornings, Sundays–Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Unload parcels from trailers.
• Place parcels onto conveyor belt.
• Scan and sort parcels by postcode, handling items of all weights.
• Work efficiently as part of a team.
• Complete scanning with handheld terminal accurately.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy.

Job description

As a Morning shift Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, sortation and scanning of parcels into cages.

This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity after a successful 12 weeks of service with competitive rates of pay from £12.71 per hour.

The operation is open 6 days and week from Sunday - Friday, and we can accommodate any days of work that suits you, you can choose to work part time or full time, the choice is yours, just let our friendly team know your availability on registration and we can take care of the rest to ensure this job fits in with your lifestyle.

This role is physically demanding and will involve moving parcels up to 30/40kg

An Morning shift Warehouse Operative rate of pay as follows:

• £12.71 per hour
• Shifts usually start around 10:00am between Sunday to Friday and finish around 18:00pm (shift times may vary)

Your duties as an Morning shift Warehouse Operative will include:

• Unloading parcels from a trailer
• Placing parcels onto a conveyor belt
• Scanning and sorting of parcels with handling/lifting of items of all sizes and weight
• Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team
• Ensure scanning with the use of the handheld terminal is completed accurately
• Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Correctly sorting parcels into cages based on postcodes
