Job summary

KFM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a well-established company in the HU1 area of Hull. This role offers a route to a permanent position and the chance to increase your hourly rate after completing internal training.

You will join a busy warehouse team, handling orders, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining accurate stock records. The position features rotating day shifts, weekly pay, and on-site training with clear progression.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance FLT licence and a full UK driving licence – essential.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment.
• Reach FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.
• Basic IT skills and the ability to use warehouse systems.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work rotating shifts.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing orders accurately for dispatch.
• Operating warehouse equipment and FLT machinery safely.
• Supporting the movement, handling and storage of stock.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse systems.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Working a rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday.

Warehouse Operative

KFM are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for a well-established company based in the HU1 area of Hull, within walking distance of the city centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse team, with the potential to secure a permanent position and increase your hourly rate following completion of internal training plans.

Benefits

• Monday to Friday working
• Rotating day shifts: 8:30–16:30, 9:30–17:30, 10:00–18:00 and 11:00–19:00
• Shift pattern during initial training to be confirmed
• £13.64 per hour
• Overtime available at 1.5x pay
• Weekly pay
• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
• Potential for further hourly rate increases following completion of internal training

The Role
