Job summary

Abbey Personnel Services Ltd in Harrogate is helping a client recruit a warehouse operative for dayshift, Monday to Friday, 08:15–17:00.

You will pick and check client orders, assist with packing, process returns, and complete despatch documentation. You will report stock discrepancies, maintain stock custody, and keep excellent housekeeping in the warehouse. Transport is ideal due to location; training will be provided and the role is physical with some heavy lifting.

My client is looking to add to their team. We are offering dayshifts Monday to Friday 0815 to 1700 hrs

• Transport Ideal due to location
• Picking
• Pick and check client orders in a professional and accurate manner within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements
• Assist with the packing of client orders as instructed by the warehouse production team leaders
• Packing
• Check and pack client orders in a professional and accurate manner within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements
• Assist with the picking of client order as instructed by the warehouse production team leaders
• Returns
• Process client returns accurately and efficiently as per client instructions within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements
• To ensure the safe handling and custody of client stock, reporting any damaged stock to the warehouse production team leaders
• Accurately complete all despatch documentation, where required
• To report discrepancies in stock levels to the warehouse production team leaders
• Practice and maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse
• To perform to agreed productivity levels as set by the organisation
• To follow basic health and safety within the warehouse environment
• To carry out other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager

Warehouse experience is ideal but training will be given, basic computer skills are required. The rolem is physical and does include some heavy lifting
