Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a part-time Decontamination and Warehouse Assistant to support the decontamination of community equipment. You will work in a regulated service centre, handle stock, log orders, and assist installers.

You will be asked to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota, with full training provided. A full UK driving licence is preferred and DBS disclosure may be required.

Qualifications

• Desirable experience in warehouse/decontamination environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas.
• Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment.
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers.
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team.
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner.
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed.
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including repairs and PAT testing.
• Occasional weekend rota participation.
• Support field-based Installation Technicians when required.

• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota

This role is working in a regulated activity and may be subject to a DBS disclosure, satisfactory references and Social Media Screening.

Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided

• Computer literate - previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
• Keen to develop within the role and company
• Hard working, driven and motivated
• Full UK driving licence is preferred
