Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging in Fareham is seeking a Warehouse Operative to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Based at our Regional Distribution Centre, you’ll handle stock, pick/pack, and dispatch activities, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork.

The role requires warehouse experience and valid FLT licenses (Reach/Counterbalance preferred). We offer a structured development path, bonus potential, and a supportive environment for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Carry out stock control activities, including counts and audits.
• Process returns and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate system records and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet delivery commitments.
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures.

Location: Fareham (Midpoint 27)

Salary: Up to £29,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + shift allowance

Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday

The role

As our Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time, every time. Working within our Regional Distribution Centre, you’ll be responsible for handling stock accurately, supporting efficient order fulfilment, and maintaining high operational standards. This is a hands‑on role where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
