Job summary

Kinetic Industrial is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a Derby-based client. This temporary-to-permanent role covers goods-in, picking, packing, stock control and occasional delivery driving.

Hours are 7:30am to 5pm Mon-Fri (hours to be confirmed). You will unload deliveries, check quantities, pick/pack orders and use a 3.5-tonne van for deliveries, with Oracle for receipts and order processing.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Full, clean UK driving licence - essential.
• Experience driving a 3.5-tonne van with tail lift is desirable.
• Counterbalance FLT licence and experience desirable but not essential.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of manual handling practices.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and follow goods-in procedures.
• Check deliveries for quantity, quality and expiry dates.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
• Create packing labels and delivery manifests.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
• Complete stock counts and replenish stock as required.
• Use a 3.5-tonne van to make deliveries and provide driving cover for holidays and absences.
• Use ORACLE to receipt goods and process sales orders.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and carry out equipment checks.

The company is a niche provider of outsourced services and has an excellent reputation within the medical industry. This is a temporary to permanent role involving goods-in, picking and packing, stock control and occasional delivery driving. You must be able to work Monday to Friday, between 7:30am to 5pm (hours to be confirmed).
