General Operative - Warehouse

Location: Droitwich
Department: ITAD Operations
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary with opportunity to go permanent
Salary: £12.21 per hour

About the Role - General Operative - Warehouse

We are seeking dedicated General Operatives to join our dynamic ITAD operations team for our client, with multiple positions available. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced warehouse professionals to play a key role in their fast-paced IT asset disposal operation, with the potential to secure permanent employment based on performance.

What You'll Be Doing - General Operative - Warehouse

Goods Receipt & Processing

• Safely receive and handle incoming IT equipment from various sources including new, used, and returned items
• Accurately process stock intake using our in-house management system
• Identify potential risks and special handling requirements, liaising with internal teams as needed

Stock Management & Control - General Operative - Warehouse

• Handle all stock with care to prevent loss or damage
• Sort and segregate inventory according to established procedures
• Maintain accurate stock locations both physically and within our system
• Conduct regular cycle counts and report findings

Order Fulfillment & Dispatch - General Operative - Warehouse

• Pick multi-SKU orders accurately to meet service level agreements
• Ensure proper relocation of any over-picks
• Securely palletise stock for safe transportation

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Strong attention to detail in high-volume environments
• Physical fitness and ability to remain active throughout the shift
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive, can-do attitude

Desirable Qualifications

• Valid forklift or Bendi truck licence (advantageous)
• Experience with stock management systems

• Hardworking, reliable, and punctual
• Flexible approach to varied daily tasks
• Availability for overtime when business needs require
