Job summary

Porcelanosa in Doncaster is seeking a warehouse picker/packer to support our warehouse operations. You will pick and pack trade and retail orders from the Doncaster facility and help ensure timely, accurate dispatch of goods.

The role requires physical effort, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Counterbalance and reach truck licences would be a benefit; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing operations.
• Ability to lift heavy items and handle manual tasks.
• Good numerical literacy and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Check in and store incoming goods as they arrive.
• Manually pick customer orders for dispatch.
• Move goods within the warehouse using pedestrian stackers and forklifts.
• Load delivery vehicles with customer orders.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Attend compulsory training sessions.

Job purpose;

Porcelanosa has been a highly regarded and respected supplier of quality floor coverings, sanitary ware and kitchens to the construction and retail markets across Europe and the World since 1973. The role will be to pick and pack trade and retail customer orders from our warehouse facility based in Doncaster.

Key skills and responsibilities of the job

The nature of the role is varied. Although you may be assigned the same/similar tasks frequently, this does not remove the general duties or requirement to comply with any reasonable request from the management team to complete any task within the warehouse to ensure smooth running of the department.

Duties Will Include

• Checking in and putting away of consignment goods as they arrive by road trailer.
• Manually picking customer order.
• Moving goods around within the warehouse using pedestrian stackers, Counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Loading of delivery vehicles with customer orders
• Following all H&S/ company procedures at all times
• Attending all compulsory training
