Job summary

Porcelanosa is recruiting for a warehouse picker/packer to operate from our Doncaster facility. The role involves receiving goods, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery, with a variety of warehousing tasks to support smooth operations.

The successful candidate will be numerically literate, detail-oriented, and able to work either alone or as part of a team, with a willingness to learn new skills and meet deadlines. Heavy lifting is expected.

Qualifications

• Numerical literacy and basic maths for stock checks and orders.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Checking in and putting away consignment goods on arrival.
• Manually picking customer orders.
• Moving goods around the warehouse using pedestrian stackers, counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Loading delivery vehicles with customer orders.
• Following all H&S and company procedures at all times.
• Attending compulsory training.

Job description

Job purpose;

Porcelanosa has been a highly regarded and respected supplier of quality floor coverings, sanitary ware and kitchens to the construction and retail markets across Europe and the World since 1973. The role will be to pick and pack trade and retail customer orders from our warehouse facility based in Doncaster.

Key skills and responsibilities of the job;

The nature of the role is varied. Although you may be assigned the same/similar tasksfrequently, this does not remove the general duties or requirement to comply with anyreasonable request from the management team to complete any task within the warehouse toensure smooth running of the department.

Duties will include:

• Checking in and putting away of consignment goods as they arrive by road trailer.


• Manually picking customer order.


• Moving goods around within the warehouse using pedestrian stackers, Counterbalance and reach trucks.


• Loading of delivery vehicles with customer orders


• Following all H&S/ company procedures at all times


• Attending all compulsory training
