Job summary

Search is hiring Warehouse Operatives for a full-time, on-site role in Crawley. Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, paying £12.72 per hour plus separate holiday pay.

The position is temporary for 3 months minimum with a possible Temp To Perm conversion. Responsibilities include picking and preparing products using handheld scanners, locating items in the warehouse, logging work in computer systems, and collaborating with teammates to meet daily and weekly targets.

Warehouse Operatives

We are looking for reliable, detail-focused and motivated individuals to join our busy team as warehouse operatives / order pickers.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Picking and preparing products for customer orders using handheld scanners (similar to a large smart phone)
• Walking around the warehouse to find the correct locations and products then following picking procedures with the scanner.
• Using computer systems to log work, print orders and check stock locations
• Working with team mates to achieve daily and weekly targets
• Some heavier lifting and carrying when required as well as helping to keep the warehouse tidy

About You

We're looking for people with excellent attention to detail, a positive can-do attitude, good computer literacy and happy to work in a fast paced environment.
No previous experience is required - full training will be provided. However, previous warehouse and / or order picking experience would be an advantage.
