Job summary

Rapier Employment is recruiting a permanent Warehouse Operative for an aerospace client in Coleshill (B46). You will handle manual tasks such as picking, packing, put-away and finalising orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of warehouse experience, excellent numeracy and literacy, fluent English and a stable work history. A Bendi licence is desirable and may increase pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years warehouse operative experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and literacy.
• Fluency in English – reading, writing, speaking and comprehension.
• Strong stable work history.
• Physically fit for manual handling of items up to 15kg.
• Willingness to learn, take on extra duties and grow within the company.
• Bendi licence (desired). A valid licence increases pay.

Salary

£25,000 - £26,000 per annum (increasing with skills and a valid Bendi licence).

Responsibilities

• Manual handling: picking, packing, put‑away and finalising.
• Operating Bendi FLT equipment (licence desired; majority of work is manual).
• Data entry and use of an order‑picking scanning gun.
• Maintaining a clean, well‑lit environment and adhering to safety procedures.
• Potential training in exports and goods‑in areas.

Working Hours

Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑17:30 (alternate Fridays finish at 17:30). 37.5 hours per week with two 15‑minute breaks and one 30‑minute lunch break.
