Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Coleshill is recruiting reliable warehouse operatives and Bendi FLT operators for an aerospace customer. This permanent role is based in Coleshill, B46, offering a stable daytime shift in a clean, modern environment.

You will handle picking, packing, put-away and finalising, using a scanner and lifting up to 15kg. Training may extend to Exports and Goods in operating areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2yrs recent warehouse operative experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physically fit (manual handling products)
• Willing to grow within the company.
• Must be able to travel to Coleshill area for 08:30 am, Monday to Friday (own transport preferred).

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, put-away & finalising – initial element of the role.
• Lift items up to 15kg and use a order-picking scanning gun.
• May be trained in other areas such as Exports and Goods in after training.
• Mainly manual work with the majority of duties requiring physical effort.

We are recruiting reliable, experienced hard-working warehouse operatives/ Bendi FLT operators for our aerospace customer in Coleshill, Birmingham, B46.

This is a permanent position via Rapier Employment. This company is a market-leading adhesive, sealant and lubricant distributor withing the aerospace industry.

Requirements

• - Minimum 2yrs recent warehouse operative experience.
• - Excellent attention to detail.
• - Physically fit (manual handling products)
• - Looking to grow within the company.
• - Willing to learn and take on extra responsibilities.
• - You must be able to travel to the Coleshill area for 08:30 am, Monday to Friday (own transport preferred).

Pay rate

• £25k -26k per annum
• - This would increase with the more skills you pick up as you progress. (will explain during interview)
• £26,000 per annum if you hold a valid in-date bendi licence (with experience).

Hours of work

• - Monday-Friday.
• - 08:30-17:30 (11:30 finish every other Friday).
• - 2x 15 minute break.

The Role

• - Working in a modern, clean and well-lit environment.
• - The initial element of the role of warehouse operative will cover picking, packing, put-away & finalising – once trained in this element we may look to train in other areas such as Exports and Good's in.
• - As a warehouse operative you will be expected to lift items of various weights up to 15kg. Using a order-picking scanning gun, you will need to have a good level of numeracy and literacy as you will be expected to locate various items using a numbered system.
• - If you have an external Bendi FLT licence, then this would be an advantage however, the majority of the work will be manual.
