Job summary

INDWARE is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Bendi Forklift Driver in Witney to join the warehouse team. You will handle incoming goods, pick, pack and dispatch orders, and rework customer orders to specifications. A valid Bendi forklift licence and safety focus are essential.

The role requires operating a Bendi forklift in narrow aisles, performing daily checks, and maintaining stock records. Flex shifts including weekends may be required; transport access is preferred due to location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
• Valid Bendi forklift licence or recognised articulated forklift certification.
• Previous experience operating a Bendi forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety standards when operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.

• Safely operating a Bendi articulated forklift to move stock around the warehouse, including working in narrow aisles and racking areas.
• Completing daily forklift checks and reporting any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Loading, unloading, stacking, and replenishing stock safely using the Bendi forklift.
• Following safe operating procedures when manoeuvring stock, pallets, and materials in busy warehouse areas.
• Conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to supervisors.
• Assisting in other warehouse duties as required.

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £13.50 per hour

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative / Bendi Forklift Driver, you will work within the warehouse team dealing with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
