Job description

Monkhouse Schoolwear Specialists, established in 1938, is one of the country’s largest multi-channel retailers of school uniforms and is part of Banner Ltd, the largest manufacturer of school uniforms.

In this role, you will be involved in stock processing activities such as stock picking, relocating stock, barcoding, and processing web orders for our customers efficiently.

At Monkhouse, teamwork is essential. We support each other in our tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Social Environmental Responsibility (SER)

We are committed to sustainability. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Switching off lights when not in use.
  2. Turning off computers at the end of each day.
  3. Reducing single-use plastics, such as water bottles.
  4. Filling the kettle only with the amount of hot drinks needed.
  5. Disposing of waste responsibly through recycling.

Working hours:

This is a 40-hour weekly contract, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required during peak season (June to September).

Immediate start available.

Location:

Our site is in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Free parking is available, but public transport links are limited. You will need your own transport.
