Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd seeks an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a global soft drinks manufacturer in Bridgwater. The role covers moving goods, stock control and dispatch, with full training for VNA operation and a 6-month fixed term contract.
You'll work a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, supporting production and dispatch to ensure orders are delivered on time while maintaining Health, Food Safety and Quality standards.

As a warehouse operative you'll play a key role in keeping our fast-paced FMCG operation running smoothly by ensuring materials and finished products are stored, moved and supplied safely and efficiently.
Working as part of a large logistics team, you'll support both production and dispatch, helping to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the highest standards.. No two shifts are the same
A key part of the role is operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck, placing and retrieving stock from racking up to 16 metres high (approximately a 3-4 storey building). Previous VNA, Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience is desirable but not essential, as full VNA training will be provided.
You'll also ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times.
Ideally, you'll be someone who enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment, takes pride in working safely and accurately, and is comfortable working at height.
You'll be proactive, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team to keep operations running efficiently.
Moving, storing and supplying materials and finished products throughout the warehouse.
Operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck following full training.
Loading and unloading palletised goods safely and efficiently.
Placing and retrieving stock from racking up to 16 metres high.
Preparing products for production and customer dispatch.
Maintaining accurate stock control and supporting inventory accuracy.
Following all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality procedures.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times
