Osborne Appointments are seeking a Warehouse Operative based in Bedford. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts from 11:00 to 20:00, at a rate of £12.98 per hour with weekly pay. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity suits someone who can start immediately and drive to the site.

You will use handheld scanners, pick and pack orders, prepare shipments, and follow supervisor instructions. A strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work under pressure are essential.

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines.
• Physically fit with manual handling duties.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous experience with handheld scanners.

Responsabilités

OA are currently working with a well established client based in Bedford, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Warehouse Operative to work alongside the team.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Use a handheld scanner to pick orders from racking
• Pack the orders and load onto pallets.
• Read orders from the pick paperwork, with accuracy
• Prepare pallets and shipments for courier collection and distribution
• Follow all instructions from Supervisor / managers
• Work in a safe responsible manner. Follow all H&S instructions
