Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Wellingborough to join a busy warehouse operation.

You will pick orders, pack goods, and load/unload vehicles while maintaining safety standards and supporting stock checks. This full-time role offers weekday shifts and opportunities to develop MHE skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Understanding of picking, packing, goods-in and dispatch.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using scanners, pick sheets or warehouse systems.
• Pack and prepare goods ready for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Receive, check and book in deliveries.
• Put stock away into the correct warehouse locations.
• Replenish picking locations when required.
• Support stock counts and inventory checks.
• Move and relocate stock around the warehouse.
• Keep products handled carefully to reduce damage or waste.
• Work towards daily individual and team targets.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment when trained and authorised.
• Support general warehouse organisation and housekeeping.

Location: Wellingborough

Salary: £25,350 per annum

Shifts: Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm or 10:00am - 6:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Warehouse Operatives Required - Wellingborough Quest Employment are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation based in Wellingborough.

The Role

• Picking customer orders accurately using scanners, pick sheets or warehouse systems
• Packing and preparing goods ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries
• Putting stock away into the correct warehouse locations
• Replenishing picking locations when required
• Supporting stock counts and inventory checks
• Moving and relocating stock around the warehouse
• Keeping products handled carefully to reduce damage or waste
• Working towards daily individual and team targets
• Operating Material Handling Equipment when trained and authorised
• Supporting general warehouse organisation and housekeeping

• Use equipment and machinery safely and correctly
• Wear the correct PPE at all times
• Report hazards, incidents, damages or near misses promptly
• Keep your working area clean, tidy and safe
• Work in line with company quality and operational standards

Desirable Experience

• Experience with any of the following would be beneficial: PPT, LLOP, Reach Truck, Counterbalance or VNA
• Handheld scanners
• Warehouse Management Systems
• Stock control or inventory processes
• High-volume distribution or logistics environments
