Job summary

Blue-Chip International Logistics Company in Aylesford is seeking an Operations Processor to join a busy warehouse. You will be responsible for scanning, sorting and handling of incoming and outgoing parcels in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires accuracy, reliability and teamwork to help the operation meet daily targets, while following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Pay Rate: £13.02 per hour

Working Hours: Split Shift – 07:30–09:30 and 16:30–20:00

About the Role

Are you reliable, hardworking and looking for an opportunity to work with a well-established, blue-chip company within the international logistics industry?

We are currently recruiting Operations Processors to join a busy warehouse operation based in Aylesford.

This is a hands-on role involving the scanning, sorting, processing and handling of incoming and outgoing parcels. You will play an important part in ensuring shipments are processed accurately, safely and efficiently, helping the operation meet daily targets and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have good attention to detail and be comfortable carrying out physical warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Scanning and processing incoming and outgoing parcels.
• Sorting and distributing shipments throughout the warehouse.
• Preparing and loading shipments onto vehicles.
• Ensuring parcels are handled safely and correctly.
• Using computer systems and scanning equipment.
• Meeting daily operational targets and deadlines.
• Following health and safety, security and environmental procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Reporting any damaged shipments, safety concerns or security issues.
• Following relevant customs and import/export procedures.

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse or parcel processing experience.
• Manual handling training.
• Aviation security training.
• Forklift Truck (FLT) experience or qualifications.
