We are looking for a Full Time Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Thatcham. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead a team of warehouse shift managers, section leaders, and operatives. Warehouse Operations Manager role details:

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week

Working pattern: Monday to Friday

Location: Thatcham, RG19 4BQ

What you’ll do:

• Manage, Support & Lead shift managers with counselling, coaching, and the development of all employees with effective communication within the warehouse teams
• Accountable for Operational excellence i.e. cost and service delivery including Peak planning/delivery
• Be responsible for overall productivity within the operation, ensure that activities are cost-effective and manage levels of manpower and other resources
• Customer service management including escalation to store
• Accountable for delivery of operational KPIs. Maintain and improve performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPI's
• Accountability for delivering the warehouse budget

Who you are:

• Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of a warehouse function within the FMCG Distribution Industry.
• A background operating at a managerial level is a must & a passion for teamwork, coaching & mentoring
• Excellent team management and customer relationship skills.
• An analytical mind-set.
• Flexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns in the future.
• Previous experience working with Trade Unions
