Givaudan in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, oversee loading, receiving, inventory, and safety, and ensure compliance with policies. You will plan workloads, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.

With 3–5 years in manufacturing logistics and 1–2 years in people management, you will use SAP WMS, ensure accurate stock, and partner with logistics and HR to build local capability.

Formación

• Vocational diploma in logistics required.
• 3 to 5 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 to 2 years of people management experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse process flow.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving regulations and protocols.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Knowledge of production process flow and scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Plan workload for the team with focus on load levelling to prevent overtime while ensuring customer service and process quality.
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies for receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Review customer orders and requisitions to prioritize work orders and dispatch tasks.
• Manage the reception of incoming materials, including batch recording, goods receipt issuance, labeling, and storage.
• Ensure accurate preparation of materials/products for shipment, aligning with customer order specifications.
• Monitor loading, unloading, and staging of products in designated areas.
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation and records in WMS.
• Oversee weigh room, sample room and tolling procedures.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct audits and training for forklift and hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain warehouse installations and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and report service requests.
• Address operational challenges and resolve inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or staffing concerns.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Serve as liaison between staff and management for inventory status and needs.
• Collaborate with Logistics management and HR to build local capability; promote identified talents.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) practices to streamline development workflows.
