Job summary

Relocruitment in Uxbridge is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a busy storage warehouse. You will take ownership of processes, optimise labour and equipment use, and act as the main liaison between customers and facilities.

The role requires forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance), supervisory experience, and a sharp eye for detail. You will oversee paperwork, bookings, crate usage, and cost-efficient capacity planning, with weekend overtime

Qualifications

• Experience in removals/storage or a similar warehouse/logistics environment.
• Supervisory experience within a large storage warehouse.
• Licensed forklift truck operator - Reach and Counterbalance.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident communicator, comfortable building relationships at all levels.
• Resilient under pressure, reliable, and takes pride in their work and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of the warehouse, optimising labour, equipment and storage space.
• Liaise between the warehouse, customers and other facilities.
• Oversee operational paperwork and ensure documents are filed and controlled.
• Process bookings and container movements using Moveware.
• Log crate usage accurately to support timely invoicing.
• Make recommendations to improve cost-efficiency and maximise warehouse capacity.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained and available for use.
• Handle forklift operations and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Distribute reports and provide clear information across warehouse functions.
• Picking up varied administrative duties as required.
