Job summary

Matthew Clark Bibendum (MCB) is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a fast-moving team in a busy distribution environment. The role focuses on labour planning, quality control, safety compliance, and efficient warehouse operations across inbound and outbound processes.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable service, oversee daily to monthly plans, and continuously drive improvements in layout and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in management in fast-moving FMCG or logistics environments.
• Experience in developing and inspiring teams.
• Ability to manage targets and KPIs.
• Flexible with work patterns and able to cover different hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage the usage of labour and adjust plans to ensure tasks are covered.
• Ensure inbound/outbound goods meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Collaborate with stock investigation to resolve variances with corrective actions.
• Help the department and depot hit quality targets within productivity targets.
• Proactively communicate with internal customers, suppliers and teams about operations.
• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly plans to meet customer and company needs.
• Ensure warehouse is safe, compliant, and ready for handover to the next shift.
• Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager with monthly reports.
• Review warehouse layouts with stock integrity to optimise inbound/outbound efficiency.
