About the role
We are recruiting for Operations Clerks within our Warehouse Team. As a Warehouse Operations Clerk, you'll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your department is completed and supporting operational activities as required. You will also support the Warehouse team when needed.
You will work closely with Senior Operations Clerks and Team Managers to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and goods are received properly within the warehouse.
You will ensure effective communication with Warehouse Operatives and support with equipment queries.
The working days for this role are Tuesday to Saturday, from 6am to 2pm.
You will be responsible for
- Completing clerical functions to ensure smooth warehouse activity.
- Monitoring pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco, and Frozen goods.
- Investigating back picks, suspended picks, and replenishments.
- Handling Proof of Delivery paperwork.
- Dealing with drivers and receipt paperwork.
- Releasing orders for checking.
- Liaising with goods-in checkers and supply chain teams.
- Assisting in stock counting as required.
- Assisting with paperwork and documentation.
- Participating in training sessions as required by the company.
- Performing any other duties necessary to meet business demands.
You will need
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience in warehouse operations (advantageous but not essential).
- Flexibility and versatility.
- Ability to produce quality work standards.
- Good PC and organizational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- An advocate for Health & Safety.
