Job summary

Booker is recruiting for an Operations Clerk in our Warehouse Team. You will handle clerical duties to support warehouse activity and assist the team with operational tasks as required.

Collaboration with Senior Operations Clerks and Team Managers ensures paperwork is accurate and goods are received properly. This temporary cover role requires numeracy, literacy, and PC skills, with flexibility to handle varying duties and pressures while upholding health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• You have sound numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience within warehouse is advantageous but not essential.
• You are flexible and versatile.
• You can produce quality standard of work.
• You have good PC and organisational skills.
• You can work under pressure and uphold health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete clerical functions to keep warehouse activity running smoothly.
• Monitor pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen.
• Investigate back orders, suspended picks and replenishments.
• Deal with Proof of Delivery paperwork and driver receipts.
• Release orders for checking and liaise with goods in checkers.
• Assist in stock counting and in issuing paperwork as required.
• Participate in training sessions and adapt to changing business needs.
