Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub seeks a Warehouse Op for a Cumbernauld site. The role is full-time, temporary with shifts from 6 PM to 2 AM or 6 PM to midnight. You will operate a voice-picking headset to gather chilled goods, assemble orders, and prepare items for dispatch.

Training is provided and previous experience is not required. You will work five days out of seven in a busy chilled warehouse, with a Christmas bonus and weekly pay.

Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub seeks a Warehouse Op for a Cumbernauld site. This full-time, temporary post offers £13.63 to £14.75 hourly, with weekly pay and a Christmas bonus. Working five days over seven on a late shift, finishing at either 00:00 or 02:00, the successful candidate will operate a voice-picking headset to gather chilled goods, assemble customer orders and prepare items for dispatch. Accuracy and care matter when completing instructions. Applicants must feel at ease in cooler temperatures and possess solid communication skills, plus reliability and teamwork. Previous picking experience helps, though training may be given. We are currently recruiting Chilled Voice Pickers for a busy warehouse environment. This is a ongoing position with daily shifts available.

The Role As a Chilled Voice Picker, you will be working as part of a busy warehouse team, preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently using a voice-picking system. The role involves working in a chilled warehouse environment, so you should be comfortable working in cooler temperatures.

Your Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

• Using a voice-picking system/headset to receive and complete picking instructions.
• Picking products accurately from the warehouse and preparing them for dispatch.
• Building customer orders carefully and ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected.
• Checking products and orders for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
• Moving picked goods safely within the warehouse.
• Handling products carefully to minimise damage.
• Following all warehouse procedures, health & safety rules and site instructions.
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Working towards expected productivity and accuracy targets.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Following instructions from supervisors and warehouse management.
• Being flexible and willing to support other warehouse duties when required.

No previous voice-picking experience is required, as full training and 1-to-1 training will be provided.

Pay Rates

6:00 PM starts - job&finish

Pay Rates Monday–Friday £13.63 per hour

Weekends £14.75 per hour

Over 40 hours: 10% additional pay

Pay increases after 12 weeks and again after 24 weeks!

Christmas Hourly Bonus

There is even more to look forward to over the festive period! A special Christmas hourly bonus will be available in mid-December, giving you the opportunity to earn additional money during the busy Christmas season.

Previous warehouse or picking experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
