Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee Leicester's day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safe storage, accurate stock and timely dispatch. The role requires hands-on leadership of a warehouse team, strong stock control knowledge, ERP/WMS experience and a keen focus on hazardous chemicals and COSHH compliance.

• Experience as Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse role.
• Proven team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong stock control and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
• Proven awareness of hazardous chemicals and COSHH.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operation.
• Lead and develop warehouse team.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain stock records and conduct stock checks.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and operational issues.
• Ensure hazardous substances are stored and moved safely.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, sales and logistics.
• Maintain housekeeping, health & safety and compliance.
• Monitor performance and drive process improvements.
• Optimize warehouse space and storage efficiency.
