Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a hands-on role in Leicester. You will lead a team, oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, and ensure safety standards, including handling hazardous chemicals, COSHH compliance and accurate stock records.

This permanent, full-time position offers £40,000 per annum and the chance to drive process improvements, optimise warehouse operations and collaborate across production, purchasing and logistics

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse role.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and warehouse operations.
• Experience using an ERP or warehouse management system.
• Essential: awareness of hazardous chemicals, chemical restrictions and safe storage/handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation.
• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct stock checks.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and operational issues.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, sales and logistics teams.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and dispatch of chemicals.
