Job summary

Kooltech Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Glasgow branch. You will supervise the team, ensure accurate picking and packing, and plan efficient delivery routes.

The role involves receiving goods, checking against PO, storing safely, and maintaining stock levels with forklift and ERP/MS Office tools. Customer service tasks may arise at times, requiring a proactive, safety‑conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
• Ability to plan and coordinate deliveries and routes.
• Comfort with using forklifts and basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations at Glasgow branch/headquarters.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing and efficient delivery planning.
• Receive, check, and store goods; use forklift and other equipment.
• Maintain health & safety and stock rotation; handle stock checks.
• Assist with counter service, phone inquiries, and delivery runs as needed.

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Salary: £32,500 per year

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor:

• Reporting to the Team Leader you and your Warehouse Operative will play an influential role in the effective and efficient operation of the warehouse at our modern Glasgow branch and headquarters.
• On a day to day basis you will make sure orders are picked and packed accurately and plan the delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
• You will receive goods from suppliers, these will need to be checked against purchase orders and any possible damage, processed then stored safely in the correct locations. This will included using the fork lift truck and other mechanical equipment.
• Good housekeeping and health and safety standards need to be followed. Stock needs to be rotated to maximize shelf life and frequent stock cycle checks will take place, any discrepancies and low stock levels will be highlighted to the Team Leader. This will contribute to achieving expected customer service levels.
• The Warehouse staff are part of the greater branch team and on occasions you will support with serving customers at the trade counter, take customer inquiries over the phone or complete delivery runs in one of the vans.
