Job summary

Lloyd Recruitment Services, working with a well-established construction business in East Grinstead, is recruiting a Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis. You will coordinate movement of materials, manage stock and deliveries, and maintain a safe, tidy store environment from site to office.

The role offers day-time hours (7:30am-4:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm) on a permanent, full-time basis, with salary up to £35K DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience within warehousing, stores, logistics, construction or a similar environment.
• Practical mindset and willingness to get involved.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The confidence to manage stock, deliveries and equipment independently.
• Proactive approach and the ability to identify and resolve issues with good communication between site and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Receive deliveries and store items correctly.
• Monitor inventory and reorder stock when required.
• Maintain the storage facility to be efficient and well-organised.
• Coordinate the allocation, return and upkeep of tools and machinery.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and available when needed.
• Assist with preparation and clearance of construction sites.
• Ensure materials, tools and equipment are delivered to the right location on time.
• Keep accurate records and maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
