Warehouse Supervisor Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor responsible for ensuring the management and operation of a busy warehouse, adhering to SPIE Wind Connect procedures, policies, and health and safety standards.

This includes the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse items and project equipment in a professional and timely manner.

The role requires efficient planning and coordination of all warehouse team members and close collaboration with the Procurement department to manage the complete project lifecycle.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Implement procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and monitor KPIs to assess staff performance.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, including shift scheduling and task assignment, with daily briefings to the P&L Manager.
• Ensure timely dispatch of projects with all requirements met in advance, including asset logs, certifications, and management systems.
• Manage incoming and outgoing logistics, including hazardous goods and customs.
• Maintain stock accuracy and collaborate with the P&L Manager on CAPEX/OPEX figures.
• Ensure asset management system accountability, with assets properly tagged, logged, and tracked.
• Schedule maintenance for equipment, including inspections and tests, and manage quarantine and write-off processes.
• Participate in operational meetings and act as the point of contact for project equipment and asset tracking software.
• Attend QHSE meetings, uphold safe working practices, and ensure team compliance with health and safety policies, including weekly warehouse inspections.
• Provide in-house training on stock control and asset management systems.
• Resolve issues within your area of responsibility or escalate to the P&L Manager as needed.
• Deputise for the P&L Manager when absent, reporting to the Head of Operations.
• Conduct stock takes as required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy, with a good work ethic.
• Valid UK driving license is essential.
