You will manage daily goods in, storage, picking and dispatch, while using ERP/WMS systems (OrderWise preferred) and developing processes to raise standards.

This hands-on role requires proactive ownership, strong organisation and problem-solving, with a clear focus on safety, accountability and delivering strong operational performance.

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager who takes pride in leading a team, maintaining strong stock control and making operations run more efficiently?

At emu24, we're looking for a capable, hands-on Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for our day-to-day warehouse operations in Rainham, Essex.

We want someone who can do more than simply keep things running. We're looking for a proactive manager who will take ownership, improve processes, strengthen accountability and help us deliver consistently high operational standards.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the warehouse team.
• Managing daily warehouse operations, including goods in, storage, picking and dispatch.
• Maintaining high standards of stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Organising cycle counts and full stocktakes, investigating discrepancies and implementing improvements.
• Ensuring accurate and consistent use of our OrderWise system.
• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse layout, procedures and productivity.
• Monitoring performance and establishing clear standards of accountability.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised working environment.
• Taking ownership of operational problems and implementing practical solutions.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations and leading a team.
• Strong understanding of stock control, inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with OrderWise would be advantageous, although not essential.
• A practical, hands-on approach to management.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The confidence to make decisions, manage priorities and lead by example.
• A genuine desire to improve systems, processes and performance.
