Job summary

Surfaceline Resin is seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse and yard, taking ownership of stock, deliveries and equipment to keep projects moving.

You will work closely with project managers, suppliers and site operatives to ensure every project is properly equipped and supported, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency across the operation.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage and dispatch of materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain stock records through regular stock takes and audits.
• Prepare and organise materials for site teams.
• Coordinate deliveries across multiple project sites.
• Arrange site clearances and collection of surplus materials and waste.
• Inspect incoming deliveries and report shortages or damage.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as needed.
• Coordinate vehicle loading to maximise space and ensure safe transport.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure tools and equipment are serviced and ready for use.
• Keep warehouse and yard clean, safe and well organised.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and warehouse documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, project managers and site operatives to support daily ops.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organisation and efficiency.

Our site teams rely on the warehouse to keep projects moving. In this important role, you will make sure materials, tools and equipment are accurately managed, properly maintained and distributed to sites on time.

The Role

You will take ownership of warehouse and yard operations, maintaining accurate stock levels and coordinating the receipt, storage and dispatch of materials.

Working closely with project managers, suppliers and site operatives, you will help ensure every project is properly equipped and supported. You will also have the opportunity to improve warehouse processes and introduce more efficient ways of working.
