Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including goods-in, storage, stock control, picking and dispatch.
• Lead, manage and develop a small warehouse team, maintaining high standards of performance and morale.
• Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of inventory.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies, order amendments, stock queries and customer requirements.
• Support the accurate picking and dispatch of high-value components and customer orders, including shop and Click & Collect orders.
• Monitor and improve key warehouse KPIs, including pick accuracy, dispatch times and stock integrity.
• Conduct regular stock counts and support preparation for the annual stock audit.
• Manage team holidays and staffing levels to ensure appropriate cover during peak periods.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
• Take responsibility for Health & Safety within the warehouse.

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of their busy warehouse operation. This is a hands-on leadership position at the heart of the business, where the successful candidate will lead a small warehouse team while ensuring stock is managed accurately, customer orders are fulfilled efficiently, and the warehouse remains a safe and productive environment.
