Are you an experienced team leader or supervisor in retail or hospitality, looking to progress further into a management role?
We're seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our retail home store team, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will significantly contribute to selling our pre-loved items.
Our Warehouse Supervisors collaborate with the management team to achieve key objectives and ensure efficient stock movement to generate sales. You will respond swiftly and positively to changing situations, creating a safe and productive working environment.
This role is varied, fast-paced, and hands-on. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries, and donations, it is physically demanding but rewarding, as you help fund life-saving research.
Our stores operate 7 days a week, and this role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, on a permanent contract.
At the British Heart Foundation (BHF), we offer a wide range of new and used furniture, clothing, jewelry, and more, available in-store and online.
We raise funds for the BHF, connect with local communities, and help reduce waste by preventing unwanted items from landfill. With over 700 stores, we make a significant environmental impact, receiving 1.6 million items and 9.8 million bags of donations annually. We aim to expand our reuse efforts further.
All our efforts support funding life-saving research for heart and circulatory conditions. We are ambitious and determined to find cures and treatments sooner, and you could be part of that journey.
Our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy, 'Igniting Change,' along with our internal EDI group, Kaleidoscope, and other employee networks, foster an environment where everyone can succeed.
We promote internal progression and support your career development.
