About the role
The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in efficiently and cost-effectively managing warehouse operations. You will ensure the smooth daily running of warehouse activities and maintain a high level of service to customers at all times.
Responsibilities
You will oversee the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods in accordance with productivity targets and within budget, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have working knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry, as well as insights into business and operational aspects of supervising a depot warehouse. Knowledge of the transport function is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and train colleagues are essential. Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and disciplinary processes is also required.
