PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Make it your story! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join an ambitious company that is growing year on year! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by overseeing a wide range of tasks, managing the warehouse team and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

This is an opportunity for someone to come onboard and take ownership of a growing department. We have a real variety of clients; however, the core of our business predominantly sits within the High-End fashion industry. This would be a very hands-on role, where we would be looking for someone to bring positive energy, is ambitious and wants to help drive the business forward.

Reporting to our Directors, job specific training will be provided but this position requires previous warehouse experience, a tidy mindset, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Specific Job Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with company procedures
  2. Lead, manage, and develop the warehouse team, setting clear performance expectations and providing ongoing coaching and support
  3. Maintain accurate stock control, including regular cycle counts and full stocktakes, and investigate any discrepancies
  4. Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet production and customer requirements
  5. Work closely with Drivers, Transport Manager and Client Solutions Team to support smooth operations
  6. Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency
  7. Manage warehouse layout and space utilisation to support productivity and inventory accuracy
  8. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly
  9. Produce regular reports on warehouse KPIs, stock accuracy, and team performance for senior management
  10. Operate forklifts and other warehouse facilities to load, unload and store goods safely
  11. Ensure accurate stock levels through efficient management of goods and weekly stock counts
  12. Handle warehouse administration using our warehouse management systems
  13. Serve customers when they are onsite
  14. Assist in training and supervising new warehouse staff on best practices and operational procedures
  15. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment
  16. Able to communicate confidently and professionally

Other tasks as and when required.

·When on-site at TIV, supplier or customer premises, comply, encourage and assist the implementation of all safe work practices and procedures required by OHS regulations as requested or required by TIV suppliers and/or customers.

·Ensure applicable incident reporting process and procedure is followed.

Actively participate in all ways in the reduction of OHS incidents.

Skills and Experience

·At least 5 years’ warehouse experience, preferably with significant exposure to international haulage, freight forwarding and logistics.

·Computer literate and has experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

·Clear understanding and acceptance of operational responsibility to OH&S.

·A can-do, hands-on mindset with the ability to work autonomously as required.
